Project Description

A project of exceptional quality, Creighton University's Virginia G. Piper Health Sciences Building's won the 2022 RED Award for Best Higher Education Building presented by AZRE Magazine. Committed to the greater good, this Creighton University Health Sciences Campus features a full four-year medical school and programs for physicians assistant, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy and occupational therapy. With the students' performance and learning environment in mind, we designed the HVAC and Plumbing systems to adequately support 50 simulation rooms, eight laboratories, a trauma-simulation room replicating a modern surgical environment, 16 simulated exam rooms and numerous classrooms. Currently lagging in the number of health care workers available to care for its citizens, this campus will help Phoenix grow the number of health care professionals throughout the state and beyond.
