The In-Plant Services Department of Comfort Systems USA Southwest is uniquely qualified to serve the construction needs of industrial facilities. Our Account Managers and tradesmen possess the technical knowledge, skills and experience to work with the sophisticated systems and processes common to the industry. Our personnel are provided with the safety training required to work in hazardous environments including OSHA 10, OSHA 30, SSTA, MSHA, confined space, hazard communication, fall protection, electrical safety, lockout / tag-out and portable fire extinguishers.
We have trained technicians with advanced ASME Section IX Orbital Welding Certifications and Orbital Welding Equipment for welds up to 4”. Additionally, our welders are B31 Pipe Stick and MIG Duel Shield Certified for carbon steel and stainless steel. We also have pipe fitters trained and certified in soldering, brazing, medical gas, t-drill and PVC B31.3 solvent weld.
Most importantly we understand the criticality of working in active facilities where every minute of down time affects your bottom line. Our main focus is to reduce or eliminate down time and to complete projects within the time allotted. We strive to implement pre-fab and proper scheduling to avoid the high cost of overtime and unexpected repairs on break-downs. Our staff is trained to identify potential problems in existing systems and bring them to the attention of the facility team.
